Melbourne December 22nd 2011 – Gamma Solutions an Australian owned provider of advanced mobile data collection systems is proud to announce the addition of the Motorola MC65 to its already extensive range of mobile computers.

The Motorola MC65 has a drop spec of 1.8m (6ft) and an IP64 rating making it one of the most rugged mobile computers on the market while the patanted Monocoque ‘unibody’ housing greatly improves structural stability.

Weighing only 359g with the battery the Motorola MC65 is small and light enough to be held comfortably in your hand all day as you work. With a rechargeable lithium ion 3600 mAh battery you work for a full 8 hour shift without having to change the battery or 6 hours talk time.

“Gamma Solutions is looking forward to offering the Motorola MC65, it is a great unit which will suit the needs of many of our customers” says Gamma Solutions Northern Region Sales Manager Glenn Batten, “With a 3.2 megapixel camera and autofocus as well as a flash which can be controlled by the user the MC65 is perfect for the mobile inspection worker as they are able to take all photos they need on the spot and email them to the relevant people rather than having to wait until they return to the office”.

When placed face down or after a predetermined amount of time the MC65 will go into sleep mode (giving the user up to 100 hours of standby time) eliminating the need to change the battery over at the end of each shift when the unit is not used regularly.
